Travel Log

Greetings;    Well we had a long day or so in the travel capsule.  We want to say thanks to all for the great send off.  It felt like we were going to the moon you all made us feel so great!!!

I slept for most of the trip so the guys were true gentlemen and did most of the driving. We had some beautiful scenery along the Columbia River and thru the mountains.  I did however drive Pearl ( the RV) thru the mountains so I got a few more minutes of driving experience under my belt.

The drive was safe for the most part but the world is missing one more racoon!  There were some girls having a fundraiser car wash but we didn't think they would agree to washing road kill off Pearl.

The drive out here was a total of 1,900 & some miles.  It was a long way to Tipperary!

We arrived tired, stinky & hungry.  So we quickly indulged ourselves with a hot shower, some fine angle hair pasta with spicey sausage thanks to Deb Vandenberg and topped it off with a nice glass of wine!

Again thanks for all of the support everyone has shown we sure hope you travel along we love the company!
