Just for some information about where we are staying in New Ulm as Dee had mentioned. We are going to be staying at the Flandrau State Park in New Ulm. It is only about a mile from the Schell Brewery.
Hope to see anyone who wants to join us for the night.
Julie
The adventure continues...I love watching this blog. You intent is so great! That being said...
ReplyDeleteCancer...Some of us want a new car...A new phone...To lose weight... But someone battling cancer wants just one thing, to win that battle. Please re-post this in honor of someone who lost their battle, or for someone fighting.
Honoring Dan Ulwelling and Amy Dennisen.
What a great statement from the blogger before me…a salute to these men and what they race for! I know my dad, Jerry, has set aside a days “mind focus” for the few in our family winning the battle – Sweet Abby and Marilyn – and thoughts for those who didn’t. I am sure Dan has been in the minds of all of them during this ride he would have loved so much.
ReplyDeleteHopefully their journey has received some recognition for the purpose in which it was intended.
Honoring Abby Bauleke and Marilyn Baker with love,
~Katie
All of you are on the minds of many. Dave, sorry to hear about your mishap and I'm sure everyone of your biking pals feels a GREAT loss with you out of the loop for a while....and if I know you, only for a 'little' while!! I wish I had the opportunity to stop in at one of your locations in MN. to wish you well and cheer you on but I can't work it in to the schedule. It's great hearing about some of the people that are joining you for a part of the journey. I know Greg is going to love being part of the team and kudos to him and the others for taking the time and making the effort to pedal with all of you.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure it's safe to be camping so close to a brewery but with a responsible adult (meaning Julie) I'm sure you guys will stay the straight and narrow.
All kidding aside, have a continued great ride. It's great to hear from each of you on the blog.
